Come join the fun and make new friends this summer with WSD Summer Camps. The children will participate in “Hands-On Minds-On” activities that will prevent summer learning loss. They will attend amazing field trips and participate in weekly themed activities that will help prepare kids for the next school year!

 Hands On: Coding, Science Action Club, Makers Space, Circuit Creation

Westminster PD Lends a Hand, Opens Doors!

The Westminster PD came this morning to hail the arrival of Eastwood Dolphins. They opened car doors, gave stickers and commended the dolphins that arrived on time. Dolphins and families were excited to see the officers and showed them how to ride the waves of respect, responsibility and safety.

Come "Camp Out" at the Book Fair March 20 - 24

Book fair runs during the week of parent conferences, March 20 to 24. Please encourage the students to "create their own campsite" using the template that was attached to the book fair featured title flyer that was sent home this week. We want to decorate the book fair with these. Parents can order books online (larger selection) March 5 to 25 and they will be delivered directly to their child's classroom for free. The link is:

Please note that the following slate of nominees for the new 2017/2018 Eastwood PTA Executive Board has been approved by the standing Board on 02/16/17. The general election will be held on March 17, 2017 at the PTA Association meeting held prior to Family Science Night. Please note that any/all members can make additional nominations or nominate themselves for any of the following positions as well during the election meeting prior to voting. Nominees must be active PTA members for at least 30 days prior to being eligible to be nominated for a Board position.

Eastwood Students "Run the OC"

Over 50 4th - 6th graders are participating in Kids Run the OC this year. Students run and participate in various activities twice a week that add up to 25.2 miles of work. It all leads up to a mile run on May 6 at the US Bank OC Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K where students will receive a medal t shirt and certificate for their hard work and dedication.
