Family Holiday Night a "Merry Success"

Over 500 dolphins and parents attended Family Holiday Night on December 7th from 5:30 - 7:30. Dolphins were treated to crafts donated by local girl scout groups, PTA provided a free Italian dinner, student council sang holiday carols and even Santa showed up! Over 7 huge boxes of toys were also donated to Toys for Tots!

Hour of Code Comes to Eastwood

Eastwood School, along with thousands across the nation participated in Hour Of Code this week. Students were able to meet guest speakers that discussed how code can help them build job skills and had fun coding on multiple websites.

Have You Seen Kinder Lately?

Kindergartners at Eastwood continue to impress! They work hard each day learning not only foundational skills of reading, writing and math, but they learn how to discuss and solve scientific method, learn how to collaborate and critique, and understand history and how they fit in. Our Kinders ROCK!

Special Guests Visit Eastwood for Red Ribbon Week

Westminster Police Department K9 unit, California Highway Patrol and the Orange County Fire Authority visited Eastwood to celebrate Red Ribbon Week and making positive choices. Dolphins were able to board a CHP cruiser, met Pako the police dog and also learned how positive choices will take you far!

Family Reading Night a Huge Success

Over 100 families showed up for Eastwood's annual Family Reading Night. Families were invited to shop at our book fair and then listened to Eastwood teachers and staff read some of their favorite stories (in pajamas)! Thank you PTA for organizing this event!

Red Ribbon Week is October 24-28, 2016

Eastwood Dolphins and Staff will celebrate making good choices by recognizing October 24-28 as Red Ribbon Week. The schedule of events is attached so you may follow what your dolphins need to wear or what events they will participate in! Also attached are businesses that are participating in an incentive program if you wear your red ribbon bracelet.

Pirate Sebastian Black Visits Eastwood for Book Fair!

Pirate Sebastian Black from the Pirate Dinner and Adventure Show in Buena Park visited Eastwood today at Lunch (thanks to our PTA) to celebrate this week's book fair. Pirate Black visited the book fair, passed out beads to students and teachers that answered trivia questions and left free passes for all dolphins to attend the show. AAAARRRRR!!!!
