Principal's Message
A Message from the Principal:
As Eastwood welcomes the beauty and energy of spring, it’s hard to believe we are already entering the final stretch of the school year. This season always brings a sense of renewal of longer days, brighter mornings, and a noticeable excitement on campus as students continue to grow academically and socially
Spring is also a time for reflection. When we think back to the beginning of the year, it is incredible to see how much our students have learned and grown! From our youngest learners taking their first steps in reading to our upper grade students developing confidence in problem-solving and leadership, every child has made meaningful progress. These moments are a testament to the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the resilience of our students.
As we move toward the end of the year, our focus remains on finishing strong. Classrooms are engaged in rich learning experiences, state testing preparation is underway, and students are continuing to practice positive habits that support success. Teachers are reinforcing the importance of attendance, effort, values and kindness that carry our students not only through the school year, but into the future.
This time of year also brings many opportunities to celebrate. From classroom projects and performances to end-of-year events and recognitions, we look forward to honoring the hard work and achievements of our students. These celebrations reflect the heart of our school community and the pride we share in each child’s journey.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are creating a school environment where every student feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to do their best. I look forward to a strong and joyful finish to the school year with all of you.
